Responsible for all aspects of organizational quality metrics to include data collection, submission, and outcomes. Will design and lead organizational project management initiative, process improvement strategies, and lean activities to drive change management. Serves as The Joint Commission (TJC) liaison and is responsible for coordinating survey activities for TJC, CMS, DHHS, etc.
Education and Formal Training: Current valid RN license with Bachelors Degree required, Masters level preferred. Certification in Lean Six Sigma, black belt preferred.
Work Experience: Experience in quality management, risk management, and in process improvement. Strong data management interpretation skills, knowledge of PI tools and public reporting. Must have excellent communication skills - both written and verbal and problem solving skills. Supervisory Experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Demonstrates a high level of mental and emotional tolerance and even temperament when dealing with ill people; uses tact, sensitivity, sound judgement, and a professional attitude when relating with patients, families, and co-workers at all times. Actively functions as a patient advocate. Must develop knowledge of current hospital emergency policies and procedures, fire, safety, disaster, and infection control policies.
